That wasn't.
I told you Fisher didn't ask for "full control" That's what the discussion was between me and you.
Since you cited zn's post, I guess you missed this one by him.
As I understand it, "Full control" and "final say" are different things. "Final say" just refers to personnel---the draft, free agency, the roster. I am not sure of the scope of "full control" but it goes beyond that and involves not just personnel. For example, on contracts, the Rams front office contracts people do not report to the coach or the GM, they report to Kroenke, which makes them separate. "Full control" means the contracts people report to Bellichick--they are under him, not separate.

Again, read the thread, I never questioned "final say" of the roster, as a matter of fact I said he did have it which he should.
IF he had "full control" he would have brought in Rich Snead as GM.
Fisher was bringing in Lake Dawson as GM, but Tennessee didn't want to lose him, so promptly promoted him before he signed with the Rams.
Fisher okayed Snead after he missed out on Dawson. It was known that Snead would be Fisher`s yes man and Fisher had full control and final say over all personnel moves.
Jeff Fisher had "full control" over all personnel moves. Of course he had to work with Demoff and Kroenke on contracts, and they helped him get what and who he desired.
Once again though..... Nice try...
