then why is he currently a ram? If wade didnt like him at all, then why franchise him? let him walk and find his replacement. as always the question is who replaces him?

the only scenario that makes sense is that wade and the rams staff are lukewarm towards tru. I agree that they do NOT see him as a scheme fit but given the alternatives were willing to live with and pay him for a year. At the of this year he is probably gone, but he could surprise.

nevertheless you neglected to answer my question...UNfranchising him (like josh norman) helps nothing. all the good corners that you could have pain instead are long gone by that point in fa so treating him like norman is of no help.

help anything when you don't even know if he works in the defense you'll be running for the foreseeable future?

You make a definite decision on a player IF he fits you try and sign him...IF he doesn't you certainly don't franchise him.

The Rams had the opportunity to franchise him...evaluate him properly then make a definitive decision within the signing window.

Bungled.

A corner that is "scheme specific' is marginal in MY book.

I've *always* said that about Tru, evidently Wade agrees.t
