Not sure what is "wild" about the assumption that Wms. was the better qb for that team than Schroeder. For example, in the span JS played from 86-87 in the regular season, he threw 32 INTs in about 24 starts. When he was in the 86 conference game, when they lost 0-17, JS completed only 40% of his passes and earned a qb rating of 43.3. He had a couple of good games in 87. But in the 87 regular season, Wms had twice as many TDs as Ints. I just think Wms was better than both JS and Rypien.

Both JS and DW were in conference games, in 86 and 87 respectively, and they could win with Wms in 87 but not with JS in 86. Just a steadier, more experienced veteran at that point though in 88 he couldn't keep it up with the Washington defense falling to 26th in points allowed.

So we just see this differently and that's fine with me. Beyond that I just have to agree to disagree.
