My assertion about those players is based on a 2 year plateau. If a player has 2 solid years back to back then to me they have arrived. If they did it one year and stunk the next (Gurley) then the jury is still out.
Brockers and Joyner haven't even had a breakthrough year yet. Alexander had his last season and Goff has a bunch to prove as u know

If by breakthrough you're talking about way above average, near pro bowl quality performance then I agree.
Solid IMO is much lower than that. It means that you're not a negative and could likely start for a number of teams. In that definition, both Brockers and Joyner have had several solid seasons back to back.
So where is the difference for you?
