Be that as it may............the part of the article that interested me was about his nagging leg injuries. This is an inevitable end result for QBs in the NFL whose game is predicated on their ability to run the ball. Wilson does far more than "scramble". He is a runner and it is a necessary part of his game for him to be effective. And, because of his small stature, he needs to get on the edges to see some parts of the field when passing the ball.

I just don't see him having a long career. It may be that he's already peaked and is trending downward. But he sure is an effective QB when he is healthy and running.

If you actually watch him, they have a few designed runs for him but by and large he only runs when the pocket collapses or nobody is open.

Wilson had only 72 rushing atts all of last year, you have any idea the number of snaps he took and how those atts compare with other qb's??

72 rush atts vs 546 passing atts.

His game is hardly predicated on his ability to run. He does what's necessary to help his team.

The dude has thrown for over 4,ooo yards twice for heavens sake!

He's clutch. He's smart. He's got great pocket-awareness. A top-ten QB.

He's quite annoying.
