I think the Rams will have enough protection for him. A 2 TE offense really helps in that regard as does a quick passing game. Not saying this will be a top notch OL, but you don't need one to do well.
The Pats seem to do it with lesser guys and rookie plug ins year after year. Where's the All-Pros on the Pats OL?
It has as much to do with system and scheme as the players.
When Kromer and McVay aren't beating the table for more Oline guys, or making ambigious statements about the OL, I'll go with it. McVay said straight out that he and Kromer are satisfied with what they have.
Whitworth was HUGE. And don't discount the Sullivan thing. Yes, he's only solid. And hopefully his back can hold up. But solid compared to how it's been would be a vast improvement. But they better prepare for something behind Sullivan....and soon.
And it is probably best to keep GRob at OT, even if on the right side. Because is Whitworth goes down, LOT goes by default to GRob.
