I'm ok with it under circumstances where we know what his level of progress is are spending a 7th round pick, a one year deal, and have a adequate support system ready.

I do think it's worth a shot.
My expectations wouldn't be too high even from a playing standpoint.
He may not be Close to the level he played at before .

You would hope to get maybe a couple of explosives that you woulndt have with a younger baggage free player he'd be moving off the roster though.

Those are my best considerations.
