Change happens in an instant, not over time
It takes time to see, but it cannot change any other way. There is always a point when the change occurred.
Will Gordon change? I have no idea, and neither does anybody here.
Can he change?
Of course he can, there are millions pf people who have beaten addictions way worse than his.
The possibility of him changing is largely (but not entirely) down to his desire and commitment to change. His past history is irrelevant to that as any half way decent addiction counselor will tell you.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
