Totally agree with everything you say here BNG.. They rarely do what I want them to - and just look at the results!

I wasn;t totally against G-Rob, but just felt we needed extra picks. Wanted to drop to 6 with ATL, but we HAD to get "value" and uphold the DVC...we wanted, I think a #1 in 2015 and a #2...I'd have been happy with a #2 in 2014 and a #2 in 2015.
Players come from the premium rounds, 1-3 and if you can get 2 #2s and the #6 overall, no matter how good G-rob was, he wouldn't be better than 3 players. The exception is a great QB
But when we did the trade up for Goff, (or even Wentz) it went against everything I've observed. Neither worth multiple picks like that, but of the two I thought Wentz the better prospect.
Man, if we had gotten Matthews, plus a couple of twos...it kills me.
But whatever, nothing we can do. I wanted Shanny over McVay, or at very least interviewShanny, but overall Shanny had more skins on wall...but again, they fell in love. Will give it a few years...but again, nothing we can do.
