IF they ARE going to let him go, and he works for the Rams before then, I assume he would want to be professional. Like a player his work is an audition. He will want to put a good draft on his resume for example. That is if he wants to stay in the NFL.

Hiring a new GM before a draft would be suicidal on the Rams part. That's just bad timing.

Besides, he is more likely to get a job if let go AFTER a draft.

But then that's all said with the assumption they WILL let him go.

And truth is we don't know.
