People have short memories sometimes. Kendricks had, for him, a down year.
In previous years---several in a row in fact---he led Rams WRs and TEs with 20 or more targets in catch percentage.
But all that gets remembered is the down year (and he's not the only Ram with a down year). Suddenly that recent down year becomes "what and who he is."
Meanwhile the times he led the Rams in catch percentage (given the parameters above) people didn't notice.
It;s selective memory.

Kendricks has hands of stone! I watched this guy live and in person drop easy catches. He friggen dropped a TD pass against the Panthers at the goal line that would have won the game. He doesn't deserve the bonus pay. He blew it away himself by his lack of hands.

Nope. Look back. Look at the actual numbers. Don't mythologize, be real about it.
Several times now Kendricks led Rams TEs and WRs (w/ 20 or more targets) in catch percentage. Look it up.
You don't do that with "hands of stone."
...
The point is this guy dropped a bunch a passes he should have caught this season and if he didn't get enough yards for his bonus then too bad for him.
A contract is a contract and he did not live up to the bonus clause.
