I didnt say his catch percentage made him good. I mentioned the catch percentage in response to the idea that he had stone hands. And of course, a catch percentage DOES address that issue. There was no claim that that alone made him good, which is what you seemed to hear.
But his value as a solid role player did not rest on being a receiving TE type, which he isn't. But there's nothing wrong with having a solid role player like Kendricks, and my bet is that he isn't the guy we saw in 2016...he was better before and will be better again.
