Regardless of who's actually at fault, what percentage of blame goes to Fisher, Snead, Demoff, scouting, Boras, Rock Gullickson, whoever,
the leadership of the organization is the issue. Good leadership trickles down- and so does bad. We're seeing bad right now. The culture of the organization is to deflect responsibility and accountability. This article from TurfShowTimes the other day made me laugh out out when I read it because sadly it's true... [

If Albert Breer's "toxic" report is even somewhat accurate (and I'll bet it is) things are very unlikely to get fixed unless some of those involved are removed. Perhaps all. And whether they upset Atlanta or not, finish 7-9, 6-10, 5-11 or 4-12, that situation would still be there. These last four games are window dressing.
But specific to the roster, there are free agent decisions to make but this would be a very attractive team to take over for a lot of coaches. This is nowhere near the 2011 roster Fisher and Snead took over. The results overall for five years aren't satisfactory but the talent on the roster is good. The cupboard is not bare.
If you're taking over a team that has a promising 2nd year QB, a very talented RB, and the best defensive player in the league that alone is a pretty good start. And they have much more than that.
They could use another WR to go with Austin, Cooper and Spruce for next year (maybe Britt comes back, maybe not).
The offensive line needs noticeable upgrades at C and LT.
The defensive line needs the next generation of blue chip talent at DE.
They might be best suited going back to a true MLB and allowing Ogletree to return to WLB.
They have a decision to make about Trumaine Johnson. And if he doesn't return a big hole at CB.
But they have a lot of talent. And they have a lot of cap room. And they have draft picks. As of now:
2nd (39th overall)
3rd (70th overall)- this assumes the Titans get the Rams comp. pick for Jenkins
4th (112th overall)
4th (141st overall) - comp. pick for McLeod
and 4 more picks in the 5th-7th rounds (including a projected late comp. pick for Fairley).
