Everyone STFU about Wentz several weeks ago didn't they.
Wentz qb rating 80.1 Goff 70
Wentz pff rating 80.6 Goff 46.2
you are your stats..you own them...each game Goff stays is the 40's confirms he is a bust...3 games and his ratings have down down each game...4 games to go and I'd start watching those stats carefully. Same as Gurley..he owns his stats over the last 16 games
anything other then that are just rationalizations by fans. don't root for against players...just accept stats as reality.
Stats are certainly important tools for evaluation, poplar.
But best kept within context. Considering Goff's OL, WR's, RB play, TE play, not to mention the coaching, play calling, and game planning, well.....
Let's just say that there are quite a few factors involved in Goff's play and development. Things that raw numbers don't necessarily reveal.
ones mans context is another mans rationalizations....best to accept the stats. ..just so easy for fans to not accept the stats. . fact is many rookies on others teams also have poor coaches and player issues. Not many rb's or qb's are as lucky as Prescott and Elliott
agree 3 games isn't enough to determine a trend but Goff will be his rookie stats..and something as happened to Gurley, I'd guess an injury, to say he is a mediocre rb..16 games of mediocrity is a trend
