...but I've never been able to understand why people feel bad about stating the obvious.
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”
– AristotleThe Ram's 'organization' has
consistently fielded a rotten product. I'm not sure why that is open to debate.
Leadership and excellence are practiced characteristics. Those at the top of the Ram's don't practice FOOTBALL excellence. The
consistently make poor decisions.
Consistent patterns of futility cannot be ignored if you want to change and practice excellence. You simply cannot:
Draft 'project' players...Quick, Robinson, Pead, etc.
Not get a QB coaching guru for TWO quarterbacks drafted at #1 ... Bradford, Goff
Run a star RB into 8-9 man fronts over and over .... see Steven Jackson
Not draft a star WR or TE for new QBs
Offensive line unaddressed for several seasons
A head coach with no apparent accountability internally or to the media
The list goes on. Excellence is a habit. The Ram's do NOT practice good, really good .....or anything close to excellence.
Why is any surprised that loyal fans of the franchise are bitter, upset and angry about an organization that truly doesn't seem to care?
I feel for your Ram43. I'm on year 3 of refusing to purchase anything "Rams".....it's my meaningless way of not showing this 'organization' support for what is a malaise towards their fan base.
