I hear from some:
"we are building a team", but then players leave or high picks don't pan out
"be patient", I've posted year after year teams that have been bad that have gutted rosters, had new head coaches that turn it around and win
"The Rams have had injuries", uh, look around the league......many teams are decimated or missing key players and still win.
"the Rams inherited the worst roster in NFL history", been 5 years and they have had money and numerous picks - high picks
7 1st round picks!
"the Rams haven't had a QB", other teams went out and got one.
The Rams have the worst offense in the NFL and again, are one of the highest penalized teams in the league.
This team is not a playoff team, but another 7-9 or 8-8 team.
That will be 3 losses in a row..
You know we are going to be reading:
"They had chances to win all those games and were very competitive"
"They beat themselves"
"Our best CB was injured"
"Injuries decimated this group or that group", "No team would be able to overcome that"
Maybe.... "We started a rookie QB"
13 years without a winning season and its amazing that there are, "excuses" or "reasons" year after year and game after game!
When does the responsibility go on the shoulders of the head coach? Especially one who demanded and received FULL CONTROL before taking the Rams head coaching job? Jets 2nd year head coach Todd Bowles just took full responsibility for his teams dismal 1-4 record.
Fisher is the 4th highest paid head coach in the NFL and only $500,000 per year behind Belichick, who is #3. $35 million head coach and more than likely getting an extension! its amazing..
Have to love what Bills owner Terry Pegula did. Before the start of this season he told both his head coach and GM if they don't make the playoffs in year two, they are both out! He`s an owner that is demanding a winning product and holding his head coach and GM accountable. Made them fire their OC which seemed ridiculous at the time, but it worked somehow and lit a fire under everyone`s asses.
