I am in the same boat as you are Rams43....

ie. I WANT to believe in Fisher as our HC to lead us out of Wilderness Decade Deux (1990-1998 was Wilderness Decade Uno in my lexicon! ...LOL)

....as I say...I REALLY WANT to believe that Snead and Fisher have a plan.....and moreover, that the plan is one that will work and get us back into Playoff contention year-in and year-out.....

BUT....

like you 43, I keep watching Johnny Hekker trotting out onto the field for yet another friggin' punt, game after friggin' game.....and these things enter my mind....they are called "thoughts"

IE. Why does Fisher keep hiring NFL rookie mooks like Frank Cignetti and now Rob Boras & Mike Groh (Barfman & Robin) to run our Offense in a Division that includes defensive powerhouses Seattle and Arizona??!!!

Why did Fisher hire as his DC's, in order,
Gregg Williams son, (The ScapeGoat)
Tim NotReadyForPrimeTime Walton,
and now Gregg UnPromotablee Williams (who is no threat to ever be a NFL HC again due to the Bountygate Scarlet Letter GW wears).....
....to me it looks like Jeff TwoDecadeNFLCorporateSurvivor Fisher is exercising that age-old axiom of
"Never hire someone who might be smart enough to replace you."

Why do we entrust the development of uber-costly Jared Goff to another neophyte coach with zero NFL credentials like Weinke???

Why did we think that by just drafting a boatload of NCAA mid-round projection OL guys in 2015 would automatically fix our mushy OLine?

MY FEAR: The Bills-Rams gametape from Sunday will show every other OC we have coming up on our schedule how to overpower Ogletree and Barron with bulk, and lose them in the wash as their RBs will average over 4 yards per carry.

Why do Los Ramos OC braintrust of Boras & Groh continue to run into the teeth of 8 and 9 man fronts???
Remember how Albert Einstein defined "Insanity"?? Doing the same thing over & over & over again but expecting better results?? Sheesh!!

Why is Demetrius Rhaney still on our 53-man roster???? I watched this guy go into the game last December 28th @ CenturyLink Field and he was awful.....no push, no power, no size, no stamina.....but other than that Rhaney was aces!!!

I could go on.....but IF 2016 turns out to be another PLAYOFF-LESS season for Ramsnation, then maybe it IS time for Jeff Fisher to go to his Fishing Lodge in Montana PERMANENTLY and load up on Rainbow Trout.

I do not dislike Jeff Fisher.....but the mediocre results of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and so far this year....do NOT lie. They establish a pattern of consistency.....ie. consistently mediocre!! This Canadian babyboomer presents this axiom to my postwar compatriots:

Jeff Fisher looks to be a good guy to have a beer with.....but in my life, I got that base covered in spades with a ton of buddies up here!
