on when you are taking my pulse.. during of after the games. Because, you see, I'm a hypocrite... right down to the bone. During games, close games, and especially if they're ugly games, I'm a raving lunatic. And just like you I would sell my soul for a blow-out victory.
After games, however, and games that we 'win'... it's the close ones, even if they're ugly, that I tend to cherish the most. There are exceptions: This year I haven't been able to gleefully sit back and say to myself "We're back"... because the Ram's offense is taxing my sanity to the max.
I really believe there is far more 'parity', if you will, during the first ⅓ of the season... teams being not quite as 'good' or as 'bad' as they look during that period. Right now I don't have a good handle on how 'good'.... or 'bad' if I'm feeling negative, the Rams are. Just a 'wild' guess but I think the Giants game soon to be here will tell me a lot.
