As long as Fisher is the coach they will want to lead with defense.
Combine that with fact that they have their QB, RB, and an OL who's entirely under contract through 2017 and in most cases 2018 with a defense that has a couple 30+ DL and a few pending free agents (Ogletree, Johnson, McDonald, Easley) and I think they'll lean defense next spring.
I would guess two of the four defensive UFAs remain. Hayes and Sims are both 31+ next year.
I agree. Other than a #1 WR, I don’t see an offensive position that they would be using premium picks for. My hope is that they sign someone like Alshon Jeffrey and skip drafting the WR.
I also hope they retain all four of the defensive free agents you list but that’s probably unlikely. I do believe that they can and will retain three of them since they have plenty of cap dollars. Personally, I would cut Sims and Sensabaugh and free up some more money.
I definitely anticipate that the draft will be defense heavy with a continued emphasis on the DL.
