Okay, you're not responding to me, or you misread. I distinctly said "historically bad offense, now entering year 2." I'm not talking about 2 games, but you are. I'm talking about, now, 18 games.

I'm not viewing "2 games" out of context. I'm viewing a continuation of the most inept offensive (in both senses of the word!) football in the NFL. Sunday was game 18, not game 2, in my perspective.

18 games, my comrade, is RESULTS. And they ain't good. That's a big deal.

IMO cool smiley

Yeah I misread that somehow. But my bet is we disagree about the reasons for the offensive problems across 18 games (or, rather, 8 games but not the last 4 but then add 1 from the next season) ....though maybe we would overlap on some of the reasons. Either way, my main point still stands just about the "light" part of it--it's an aspect, not a predominant thing, and helps with morale and comraderie. There's no harm in any of that. They know the offense has struggled for various reasons (some of which we would agree on) and being uptight about it won't help things any. That's just how I see it.

So we just differ on this thing. I don't think it;s a big deal and I don't think adding that light stuff to the mix detracts from anything.
