Argue the methods all you want (and I know you will!), give your perspective all you want, but you can't argue the results. Historically bad offense, now entering year 2. Time to start getting serious.
IMO, of course
And everyone can argue about how to interpret the results.
Though so far there are no results. There's a problem after 2 games. They become "results" at the end of the season. In the meantime, part of fixing things is to keep morale good. Those who know how to do that never use it in such a way that it detracts from the real job at hand. They use it to keep the chemistry good while fixing things.
Though if at the end of the season the Rams are again low in 3rd down conversion percentage...as they have been since 2007...I doubt I will personally criticize them for adding light moments to the task of fixing it. I just don't see it as detrimental.
And please stow any and all personal references. Even offhand ones. I appreciate it. Thanks.
