He doesn't seem like he was the problem with the WRs. Sometimes in life chicken @#$%& is always going to be chicken @#$%& and never chicken salad. Sherman was a good coach who was scapegoated because Fisher has absolutely no idea how to build an offense that works in 2016. And thats one of the biggest issues I have with this regime. Its always someone elses fault. Jeff Garcia not brought back, he must have been the problem with the QBs, just look at all the leaps and bounds made by Goff...
As far as some of your other points, to me it comes down to the Dline and the running game. And it shows with what you saw last night.
Quick needs a change of scenery IMO. I have a weird feeling McRoberts makes this team in his place. Britt, Austin, Spruce, McRoberts, Marquez and Cooper.
And with Goff, as far as his progress goes, he is just dealing with information overload. As they add more and more to his playbook every week, he slows and slows. He'll be fine, but IMO, as I stated all off season, he was not the most NFL ready QB and that he would need time. So many factors from not calling a single play in a huddle, to making pre-snap reads to never being under center and on top of that the Pac 10 is not known for its defensive juggernauts.
