Ram brethren and sistas, riddle me this.
If the first pick the Rams make in '23 were between a B+ offensive lineman or an A- Safety, which would you choose?
Would your answer change if the A- player were a WR? OLB? CB?
I ask because some of us are OL honks who would invest far more there than most teams ever do. Then again, shouldn't you take the most impactful player regardless of position unless you have better talent already on the team?
It's fascinating to me because anything other than an OL with the second round pick will draw my ire, as well as a few others here. But if the next AD, Kupp, Wagner, or Ramsey slips into the second round... we won't know for awhile but they won't be fixing the running game and pass pro either way. I said last year they could've drafted 3 linemen and I'd be happy. In hindsight, I wasn't wrong. Am I wrong to say the same this year and insist on the best OL available with the 2nd rounder?
