I don't think the 52nd and 57th picks are that much of a mystery

My 2 cents on a subject I only know from an armchair, but not technically like Deadpool and others on this board.

I don't know who the players might be exactly, but if they sit there at those two positions (and rarely does Snead stay put), then they will choose BPA on their board among: OL, DL and WR. Perhaps CB (because in the NFL there is no such thing as enough good CBs on a team) but I put CB as a long shot, because Their first 3 CBs are set, and they DO have higher need at the interior of the Oline, at 3/4 DE/DT and with Cooks gone perhaps at WR. But I think the WRs are so good and so deep this year that they could wait to their second 3rd rounder to pick a potential starter. The good news is that that Rams have 2 superb starters and another in Reynolds who isn't in their class, but is a good WR nonetheless. And don't sleep on Webster. That young man just might be the Cooks replacement. He is electric with the ball in his hands, is slippery fast, he's tough, and just has a look about him that says he can play.

I do NOT think the Rams are looking at LT. They continue to like Noteboom, and they have Evans and Edwards who clearly improved as the year went on. Whit is our guy for at least next year at LT so adding yet another LT prospect doesn't make sense to me. They already have several guys that need developing and there simply are not enough reps to go around when you have too many guys at one spot..... even in training camp.

Rather I see Center/Guard as the position on the Oline that they have their eye on. A 1 year deal on Blythe says he is a stop gap. And besides, if the Rams were to draft a Center who is bigger and better than Blythe he can be used as a back up in all 3 interior spots on game day.

I think Snead and McVay like their potential and are going to give our current crop of LBs a chance to rise to the occasion. I don't think the Kiser-love is a smokescreen. I think they really like him and he is actually more what they wanted at ILB than Littleton because he's a more physical run stopper. I think they like Howard as well, and I think they want to give Obo, Oko, Polite, and the other young OLBs a chance to ascend.

The one caveat to all I've said is a guy I have my eye on: Greenard of Florida. I think he is a guy that they could go for in the 2nd round. He is good at the point of attack on run plays, but has enough speed and athleticism to drop into zones to cover and is a natural pass rusher from almost anywhere on the Dline. He reminds me a bit of a more flexible Chris Long. So I could see him as a hybrid OLB/DE used especially on passing downs at first. An interesting play making piece on D to move around a bit.
