Rams got burned on Terrell Lewis. Why risk it again. Lewis was supposed to heal up and
be healthy. Was he?
I know situations are never the same, but just because there are a few guys who've played w/o
ACL does not mean he will, long term.
Also, Rams have a starting ILB ... the second LBer ... is a secondary position because Rams only play a 3-4
maybe 20-25% of the time. And with Curl on team he could very well lake Roze's saps in nickel.
And that would involve rookie safety to play safety ...
But it comes down to this---Corum or Wilson. Wilson was gone before Rams picked at 99 ---
Who would you want right now ... the RB from Michigan? Or Wilson?
I can't decide for sure, but I think Rams did their due diligence and went with the RB. I wonder if they'd have
even picked him if he and the Miami safety were both there/
