What a trip down memory lane and the 1994 draft!
The first draft I ever watched start to finish on ESPN was 1993 when I was 25 years old.
The 1994 draft was the first year I got super into studying up on the college players, getting all the pre-draft magazines, highlighting guys I was hoping the Rams would take.
This is an 8 minute video that you have to see. Even if you have seen it before it's worth watching again.
That was a fun draft.
I think in the end Tobin was proved correct, with Dilfer being Dilfer. But then again at that moment in time it was a poor draft choice to take Alberts when there was a guy who
might be able to develop as a QB.
So in that argument I think both sides had good points. And it did a ton of good for the draft as well. One of those big moments that put the draft on the map with the unwashed masses. Of course as rabid Rams fans most of us lived on the draft in those 90s years as it was all we had until DV brought us back.
