Here is what we do know. McSnead wanted Fiske and thought they had to give up next years 2nd rounder to get him. Now the question on why not one of this years 3rd rounders are would it have gotten the deal done or did they like who they could get in the 3rd Corum and prioritize it over next years 2nd round pick. It had to be one of those 2 things but not sure which one it was.
Next year's draft is weaker by all accounts, even Dead and aylo agree. So a 3rd this year is more valuable based on depth of class,
but either way, if you wanted Fiske you had to pay. If someone else would have sufficed --- they'd have done that but I see what they probably like
in Fiske.
