I would really love to see the Rams draft that center (JPJ). I just think it would mean so much for Stafford and the run game too

I agree with everything you said.
Smith at LT means Stafford has no pressure coming from that side. I like that.
When a HOF LT hits the market, you have to be interested.
He is the type of player that helps you win a Super Bowl - a premium talent at a premium position who makes your most important player (Stafford) healthier and better. When Stafford is healthy and has time to throw, we win.
If Dotson wants too much $, sign Smith, move Jackson to RG and draft Jackson-Powers. Let's go! - best line in the league?
And use the $ difference between Dotson and Smith to sign another significant free agent? - Shelton? - then we wouldn't need to draft C.
Sign an affordable Edge like Van Ginkel/Za'Darius Smith/Jadeveon Clowney (with incentives) . . .
and/or an affordable CB like Fuller and head into the draft with many more options rather than being "forced" to fill holes.
Being able to trade back from 19 to 30ish and add picks would be awesome.
Still get a really good player at 30 and then 5 more between picks 50 and 120 - Rams are serious Super Bowl contender.
