Likely a pipe dream ... but I keep wanting guys like this (Ohst. Sawyer would have been another) who are crazy off ball LBs who also can rush the passer ..
Seems like a way to get 3 pass rushers on the field on 3rd down and keep great players in the middle all downs regardless of if they could hold the edge on running downs.
Edge and Payton chase runners on first down with Hunter and Young manning the outside, then ... who's coming on 3rd down?
Both of those guys seem like if they played edge and had no injuries we'd be talking about them alongside Dallas Turner.
