And again, we are off on maybe 2% of players.
I couldn't pull it off ... I usually try to get one out after the Senior Bowl, but I got keyboard tied every time.
First, I can't without trading down with that first pick.
Next, there are too many guys close at WR and CB for me to do it without seeing times from the combine.
I'm just stumped so I'm glad you put one up for me to gander at.
I really like Boogie Watson.
Yeah, Bookie, pronounced like boogie with a K, not like book-E, is a smart, hardworking, easy going kid. Hard not to like.I'd probably nab Emani Bailey/Cody Schrader over a WR later ... but I'm looking at WR early and Whittington is on my short list late.
I so badly wanted to draft a Coleman in the 1st, or Polk or Worthy or Leggett in the 2nd or even Corley. Hopefully FA clears up some draft flexibility. As far as RBs, man its a rough class. If Shipley or Allen get to day 3, Im intrigued by those 2 quite a bit as something the Rams don't have. Love Schrader as a player, but more of what we have? Bailey has wheels in a smaller frame. Shipley has 8 fumbles over the past 3 years...Allen had 9...Also, I like the "idea" of Austin Booker in the 3rd along with Harrell from Michigan ... thoughts there?
Booker is a rd 3 guy for me. Love his explosiveness and length, wish he held up against the run better, I watched his Texas (i think) game and loved his motor and he showed a nice spin move and a good swim move. I year in a weight room and he could be a steal. Harrell I thought was a bit stiff, but I saw him again and I think he is a good athlete, not elite. Has a devastating spin move. Big time motor and an explosive first step. I call him the Janitor, because if there is something to clean up, he is there to do it, RBs, QBs, whatever. I think there is untapped potential there, in fact he could slide inside as an off ball backer and blitz and run defend from there. I like his game. Raym is my target in the 5th unless something unexpected happens. I think he redshirts.
He needs to be a backup for at least 1 year, so agree.Isaac Rex the TE was a combine snub ... where do you have him? I had him around the 4th, but we may be able to get him super late.
He was good at Shrine practice and apparently was named to all Shrine west for Attitude, leadership and dedication on and off the field, So he's a Rams type of player. I think he is a developmental type, so I have him middle day 3 I think, so round 5 or maybe 6. He might go undrafted though
