I'm not arguing that he didn't "cross the line" and I'm not arguing it should be "tolerated". I'm saying that for me personally I'm not shocked or even surprised by what took place. Heat of the moment - the single most important game in professional sports-wanting and even demanding to be put in the battle. Moreover, I'm sure today he wished it had not happened. Because I'm not invested in being "shocked" at his behavior does not mean I think his conduct should be tolerated or that he didn't cross a line. Just not as surprised and upset at how some are on this subject.
