I think I understood where you were coming from perfectly. I don't agree.
So as for the 'shock' element... which you find odd that some of us felt/feel (I did not see it live). Well, it's certainly NOT that tempers can flare. This came from, arguably, the 2nd most known player in this SB.... and it came before some fans had taken their seats at Allegiance. And it was extremely bombastic and directed at the most important Chief on the field - - WITH the Lombardi on the line. I think you're going to have to search long and hard for something comparable to that taking place during a SB... or any game for that matter. You seem to have thought "ho hum, happens all the time, boys will be boys".
It's something that sure, happens to varying degrees - but it's also something that from the moment you begin playing sports are taught to overcome. Or at least taught that lesson by most coaches and certainly any 'good' coach. It stood out.... it wasn't run of the mill. - JamesJM
