I have had to think this morning of why ... because it's everywhere.

I remember thinking back to a game with ... I think Jerry Rice going against Deion Sanders and one play they just started fistfighting relentlessly. Like one hard press pop and Jerry Rice just started throwing hands and they had to be pulled off each other.

I also think about Will Smith at the Oscars. How I wasn't actually bothered by it.

In both cases there was a history at work that most people knew nothing about. In the above cases it was rivalry ... that includes Will Smith. It's not really our business is my feeling. It's not a decision I made about it, of course it shows terribly and we tell our kids "That's not adult behavior and while there is likely a lot more to it, it's never okay to resort to physical interactions" ... but I actually don't care personally.

Kelce and Reid will work it out. They've been together for how long? They're family. It's a family problem. We see it and get all fussy because it was out in the open, as if there isn't a lot like that going on in households all across the country. When we see it, we can talk about it. They have some time to discuss it and get right with each other and make statements.

I see it as an opportunity to have a conversation. Just like with Will Smith at the Oscars. There are consequences obviously and I'd think Kelce would be fined for "conduct unbecoming" or whatever by the NFL or organization ...

So for me the question isn't "Is that level of anger and violence okay" ... it's "why is that level of anger and violence 'normal'" ... then we can get into emotional suppression vs intelligence, parenting, and processing emotion. Then I can sell my self published book to the NFL and go on vacation finally.

Most people are riled up when they lose control. Hell, Corad Dobler had more self control
