So the problem is that we all think McVay can do better than that. Better than good. Whether he can or not is what everyone is debating.

I think he can do better but it appears he has reached a plateau. He really needs to get outside input from someone. Whether it be coaching, player evaluation, or both, McVay needs better advice and mentoring to take the RZ offense to the next step.

Or like Jack Youngblood said, if the offense scores 7 points, it's up to the defense to only allow 6.
