I feel good about our future.. with one reservation..

I like where we're headed and with some cap room and draft picks, we're back contending in 2024.. But, by season's end we were contending in 2023.. Just too many mistakes made in the playoff loss.. and some of those were on McVay, who was almost the most experienced guy on the field.. McVay, imo, needs to make some changes in regards to Red Zone offensive philosophy and tactics.. He probably needs someone else calling the plays or at least needs to reel Stafford in, if Stafford is changing plays at the line.. But, something needs to change in the RZ, cuz almost every time we get there, we know its gonna end up in a FG attempt..

Field goals.. Extra points.. seriously.. we need somebody more reliable than Maher.. Had we tried a 50+ yarder to win the game, anyone here confident in Maher nailing that? I know he has the leg for it, but like Rocky in whichever movie it was, "I see 3 of him out there" .. "hit the one in the middle".. Maher needs to hit the goalposts in the middle.. For crying out loud, dood, Rocky's worthless brother in law knew that - you should, too.. If not, fulfill your lifelong ambition to sell insurance..

Are we gonna keep the OL intact or have to piece one together again? Williams is awesome, but he gets hurt a LOT.. Just sayin...

Of course, decent chance we have a new DC and we do need some better guys in the secondary and an edge rusher or two would be nice..

But, overall I like this team.. Lets tighten it up, get RZ and TO's figured out, and go kick some azz..
