I suppose a couple of things, and wonder if anybody else supposes them with me...
If McVay were managing an overview of the whole game instead of dialing in on offense when the O is on the field, would he and the DC confer during the 1st half to make D adjustments before halftime?
Would another playcaller call different plays in the red zone? Perhaps in consultation with McVay?
McVay sputters when he gets locked in on anything. It's in his DNA.
