Ok, here's my thought process.
1. #1 priority is to make sure Stafford stays untouched because he can even make Tutu look like a good WR. That means OLINE. I keep Dotson, Shelton, Avila combination in the middle. That means Dotson gets the deal done with the Rams. Remember, deals go both ways, maybe he likes McVay and the Ram locker room culture and feels like he WANTS TO STAY A RAM. Winning has a funny way of making football players feel good. OL coach Wendell could also be a reason he stays, and I think Rams will do Dotson good and get a fair deal done.
2. I have looked at Mock Drafts and there's been a few that have us taking OT (Latham, Mims) in RD1....Which plays right into my #1 priority of keeping Stafford safe in the pocket. It also keeps OLINE creating holes for our RB Williams.
In RD2, I have seen us selecting QB Bo Nix.....I have seen enough Oregon Duck games the last couple of years to LOVE this selection, but that's not a Ram priority IF they sign Wentz. But, I would still be ecstatic with a QB Room of Stafford/Wentz and Nix.
3.If our offense keeps putting up 28+ points a game, then our Rams will keep winning games....IMHO, I keep Demarcus Robinson, send Tutu on his way out the door and get a WR in RD3 that has the speed to push safeties deep and allow Kupp and Nacua to work their magic underneath with crossing routes. Basically, get a bigger WR to do what Tutu was meant to do.
4. I go get defensive help in FA this off season. No surprises needed, just NFL film ready players that can come in and rush the QB and be a plug and play guy. This defense is young, but they are pretty darn good.
