Yes... these are pedal to the metal theorists who have been doing that with the goal of Super Bowl each year. Expectantly they ran out of gas this year. They will fill up next year and are not that far off !
Kroenke is concerned primarily with the value of his franchise ("winning"
and is getting older. Above all he is a biz man and willing to invest in his biggest asset.
It just so happens that Super Bowl 2027 is in LA. I'm sure he would like to see them there again along with before that too.
Looking back, until this year (they couldn't) have never seen this group shy away from putting in lots of dough to enhance their team. Compared to other teams, their model has worked very well.
