Seems like a lifetime ago, but I remember a game where Martz was getting flak for running a goal-to-go play with an empty backfield and Warner chimed in. Warner said he like an empty backfield in that situation because it forced to defense to broadcast their coverage and it made it easy for him to determine pre-snap where the ball should go.
Dunno, but maybe that played into the play call against the Seahawks
