One may want to compare Young's current stats and W-L record to a couple of rookie QB's that struggled even worse in their first year. In fact, both threw more INTs than TD's but they seemed to overcome it as their teams got better around them. Folks may have heard of them:
Peyton Manning & Troy Aikman.
Drew Brees wasn't much better with a 10-17 record over his first two years with 28 TDs & 31 picks.
