Old school QB still beats New Age QB plus lasts a lot longer (not just a 1-2 yr. wonders).
The QB position is largely played from the neck up and with emotional maturity and balanced intangibles, assuming adequate arm talent. Sure, Marino and Stafford arm talent is great but QBs like Montana & Brady proved you do not need it to be HOFs. Arm talent is not just a powerful arm but rather the ability to throw from multiple platforms accurately. Heck, even escape ability via advanced pocket presence can trump duck & run and then get hurt.
Old story and lesson that the newer NFL GM and scouting crowd refuses to learn.
