Specifically, Sean McVay, Raheem Morris, and Blackburn on special teams?
All of them seem to be unraveling at least a little bit, don’t you think?
Any specific coaching decisions you're referring to? I can think of one...Kendrick being a starter.
Other than that, I think the problem is the roster. We are very young and inexperienced so it's no surprise that our record is where it is. Honestly, the Dallas game aside (which was a s%$t show), I've been surprised and somewhat pleased at how we've been in every game, which in my humble opinion points to good coaching with this young roster.
About McVay…
Not running 12 sets.
Practically ignoring his TE corps as a weapon.
Trying to pass against weak run D teams.
Calling that 2 point trick play to his only viable QB who is 35 years old and already had injury issues.
The Akers fiasco.
Having no decent backup QB.
Over reliance on Kupp and virtually ignoring Atwell.
About Morris…
The ongoing Kendrick fiasco.
Putting all his Edge eggs opposite Young in the Hoecht basket.
Continuing to use Durant as star instead of outside.
Keeping Tomlinson AND Shelley on the bench while secondary gets abused.
Now this D can’t even minimize explosive plays anymore.
Where are the sacks?
Where is the basic tackling?
About Blackburn…
Where to start? With the exception of P and LS, Rams ST seem to be going backwards.
The above is a long list, indeed. This team should be at least 5-3 right now but for self inflicted wounds from coaches and players alike.
