We lack the potency in the defensive front we would need on the rush to be a deep playoff team. I think we also lack some depth at certain spots, backup QB for example, though our depth is proving to be better than I expected.
But it's important to keep in mind this is a rebuild team. They're playing their hearts out. They're competing and have some key players that have to stay healthy for that to continue and if they get good health the rest of the way they will be able to make some noise. Maybe even get in the playoffs and win a game. But they are too flawed I think for a deep playoff run, even with McVay maximizing their strengths.
