I don't go back and rewatch film any more and all that but it felt like some of it was the DC flipping the calls to some extent because of the sheer lack of runs and how well we ran the ball when we did actually execute them.
So for me what this means is why didn't the Rams anticipate this and have "full box" beaters ready to execute. Why didn't they punish them for that. Well, the answer still goes back to the OC and McVay in combination from gameplanning to gameday calls.
I imagine that if they could play this game again they would have some quick pitches or screens or routes over the middle to take advantage. And because this is a copycat league they'd better have those ready for the Colts because you can bet we'll see the same until we compensate for it.
