And the other half have never played a single down in an NFL game.
And you're already ranking them......... Have you been watching film of the Lions practices and tuning in for preseason games?
You're actually passing judgment on guys who just finished your rookie season so I'm not even playing every game and guys who have never stepped foot on an NFL field for a real game.
It's laughable.
I happen to know the Class of 2022 pretty well. Saw probably 12-13 full games of the Lions last year ... and the guys I said look good or solid were starters and obviously what I think is based on what I have seen. It's the only logical way to do it. I
This year was based on last night's game ... and preseason ... and yes, I watch Campbell of the Lions close...I was curious to see him play MLB ... and he deflected a pass last night like he did in the NYG preseason game so IMO he looked good. That's what I saw. He didn't play the full game, but yeah. I saw the game and saw the All-22.
Gibbs broke tackles last night, he looked good. The tight end blocked well and looked good.
It's no different than when I say I saw THT or Desjean Johnson or Kobie Turner or Steve Avila in preseason and said they looked good. It's the same thing.
And No, I didn't see Lions practice. I didn't see Rams practice. Nor did you.
But I did see Rams preseason games and the All-22 and saw them more than one time. So, to the extent possible I've formed opinions. The same holds true
for the Lions.
Does that mean that is how their career will turn out? No, of course not. It's an at-the-moment assessment. However, we have people calling Tutu a bust, or Bruss a bust not knowing if Bruss can rebound. People give opinions all the time. We have people saying Boom will suck at guard in 2023 because he did in 2020 ... how do they know? Do you laugh at them?
If you think that's laughable then laugh, that's your right.
Laugh away.
A bit salty tonight?
