Holmes went to the Lions is 2021: the Rams have only had the 2022 and 2023 drafts since he left and I'd say it's probably still a bit early to be handing out grades for those guys. That being said I will offer this:
2022Round 3: Logan Bruss Has bust written all over him.
Round 4: Cobie Durant Gonna be in the Pro Bowl, maybe as early as this year.
Round 5: Kyren Williams #2 RB, a least a solid pick for the 5th round.
Round 6: Quentin Lake Backup safety, probably part of nickle and dime packages. Great value for the 6th round.
Round 6: Derion Kendrick Projected started at CB, at least until 2023 draft pick Tre Tomlinson takes over. Probably first CB off the bench, maybe part of nickle and/or dime after that. Again, great value for the 6th round.
Round 7: Daniel Hardy Gone: not even on the practice squad.
Round 7: Russ Yeast Starting safety . Great value.
Round 7: AJ Arcuri Practice squad
2023Round 2: Steve Avila Starting LG and the sky's the limit.
Round 3: Byron Young Starting OLB
Round 3: Kobie Turner Part of the DL rotation this year with a bright future.
Round 4: Stetson Bennett Can't really judge until he plays with the 1s. Hopefully we never find out ...
Round 5: Nick Hampton 2nd string OLB No clue how he is
Round 5: Warren McClendon Backup RT as a 5th round rookie. Great value.
Round 5: Davis Allen Flashed in limited action, seems like a long term keeper.
Round 5: Puka Nacua In the mix as the #3 WR. Great value.
Round 6: Tre Tomlinson Likely to be a starter at CB, possible this season. Great value.
Round 6: Ochuan Mathis IRed, no clue how he is
Round 6: Zach Evans #4 RB, no clue how he is
Round 7: Ethan Evans "Ball comes off his foot like he’s mad at the sky." Love it. Great value
Round 7: Jason Taylor II #5 safety, might not even see him play this year
Round 7: Desjuan Johnson Rotational DL this year with potential for more down the road.
So ... take a look at the 2 drafts the Rams have had since Brad Holmes left and see what you think. (Have the Lions' drafts have been better than the Rams' these past two seasons, factoring in the draft capital they had to work with?)
FWIW Holmes was Director of College Scouting from 2013 thru 2021 when the Rams drafted such notables as Tavon Austin, Greg Robinson, Terrell Lewis, Terrell Burgess, David Long ...
