I thought we were discussing the play of a QB, not that of a team. That's why I pointed out that Goff was second in completed passes for 20+ yards and tied for second in completed passes for 40+ yards, on a team that had the 4th best offense (yds), 5th in scoring, and most everyone knows about Goff's non interception streak...that's over the course of a season. Am I saying that makes Goff the better QB...no, I'm not saying it makes him worse either, especially considering his lack of weapons last year. Perhaps you missed my point...the need to justify the Goff trade two years later (we are beginning Stafford's third year with the RAMS) seems a bit strange to me. At any rate, if the RAMS lose to the 9ers and the Lions beat Seattle, someone will be compelled to begin another thread explaining how "Stafford is better than Goff" and that it was a great trade. Good grief...
Don't let them deflect the focus from what this thread was about. lol This thread IS about "the play of a QB".
53 even said it in his post Link: "His point is Goff is very good. Stafford is great.". lol
Why does anyone need to go through all that just to point out that a QB with 10 years more experience is better than the less experienced QB?
This was just another shot at Goff. Why? IDK
Not sure why some people always say "it's about the ring" as an excuse for everything. Bringing "The Ring" into this conversation is just silly and has nothing to do with the Tweets intention, IMO.

Thanks Ramsdude. You know, I think if Goff had the OC he has now and the offense that surrounded Stafford the RAMS would have won that Superbowl also. But Stafford is our QB now and Goff has been doing great with the Lions (I could be wrong but I believe the last 8 games of the 2021 season Goff, and the new OC had been installed, had the #1 rating at QB so the 3-1-12 record that year doesn't really speak to what he did that year either). Maybe people became so invested back then with "Goff is everything, or at least almost everything wrong with the RAMS and is the reason we lost the Superbowl (although I believe the biggest reason was McVay) and Stafford is elite" that they don't want to look like they were even a little wrong so the "Stafford is great, Goff not so much" threads must continue.
