And throw in that especially in the first 2 rounds (probably 3) WHERE one drafts in the round also matters because starting in the 3rd you'll always have some comp picks.
The Rams have drafted quite well, thank you. And they have done especially well with late round and UDFA picks. It's been so long since they've even used a 1st rounder (that is usually where a team's overall draft grade jumps up), I think Snead and McVay ought to earn some praise. Besides, as much as we all want Boom to be a really good starter to earn his draft position and money, how about if Jackson goes on to be a very solid starting LT in year 2 after being a late round pick? That's pretty impressive.
