On the offense, 10 of the 11 starters were originally drafted by the Rams. (The exception is Stafford)
At WR: Kupp (3rd), Jefferson (2nd), and Skow (7th)
On the OL: Boom (3rd), Avila (2nd), Allen (4th), Bruss (3rd), and Havs (2nd). <== that's Ourlads info: we now know that Anchrum (7th) is ahead of Bruss at RG
TE: Higbee (4th)
RB: Akers (2nd)
And on defense they show 12 guy by adding in the slot CB as a starter. Of the 12, 8 were drafted by the Rams: in addition to AD they list Bobby Brown III (4th), Byron Young (3rd), Ernest Jones (3rd), Fuller (6th), Russ Yeast (7th), Derion Kendrick (6th), and Cobie Durant (4th) as guys they drafted. The other 4 guys include a FA (Ahkello Witherspoon) and 3 undrafted CFAs (Marquis Copeland, Michael Hoecht, and Christian Rozeboom).
So of the 23 starters, they have one guy acquired by trade, one FA, one 1st rounder, four 2nd rounders, four 3rd rounders, four 4th rounders, two 6th rounders, three 7th rounders, and three undrafted CFAs.
21 out of 23 are home-grown talent, and only one of them picked in the first round ... with 12 of those 21 drafted in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round.
Methinks of all the Rams problems, evaluating college talent and developing those players is not on the first page (depite the fact that they don't hit on every pick.)
