He and Demoff were pretending he wanted to stay in St. Louis. All the while they were buying a property in LA. First, tried to buy the Dodgers parking lot and then Hollywood Park. Stan's not stupid. He knew Los Angeles was the big prize. He just didn't want to admit it to the people in St. Louis.
I had no problem with it because I wanted them back in Los Angeles even though I kept season tickets in St. Louis while I lived in California.
